The Centre for Behaviour and Wellness Advocacy (Ghana), supported by the Laboratory of Professional and Pedagogical Training (USA), is pleased to announce the first Writing Fellowship Programme in Human Behaviour and Wellness Promotion.

This Fellowship Programme is designed to foster excellence in research synthesis and publication. It offers a unique opportunity for emerging scholars to engage in review projects under the guidance of experienced mentors, leading to the development and publishing of mentored research papers.

About the Fellowship:

The Writing Fellowship is designed to provide participating teams with a structured framework to conduct scoping reviews in eleven (11) specific wellness behaviour research themes. Scoping reviews are essential for mapping the existing literature, identifying research gaps, informing policies, and developing future research questions. This fellowship is a stepping stone for emerging scholars, especially from low- and middle-income countries, who aspire to enhance their research skills, contribute to evidence-based practice, and build a strong foundation for further research.

  • Publication: The ultimate goal of the fellowship is to produce high-quality scoping review papers. Fellows will be supported in preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals, ensuring that their work reaches a wider audience.
  • Skill Enhancement: Fellows will gain hands-on experience in scoping review methodologies, literature searching, data extraction, and analysis. This skill set is transferable and valuable across various research domains.
